Top Ten Tuesday : Books I'd Buy Right Away....If I Had A Fully Loaded Gift Card.
Oh, all the books I would buy...if only I had the money. It's a dream we all have, I think. My grammy once said one of the greatest gifts she could give me for Christmas was a gift card for books. If you can afford it, there really isn't a solid reason why you shouldn't spend a limitless amount on your digital and physical shelves. There isn't such a thing of 'not having a book to buy'.
I'm splitting this up in two parts! Five books (and/or sets) I'd buy for my physical bookshelf and five books I'd nab for my e-reader!
Books for my E-Reader
The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins
The Graces (#1) by Laure Eve
The Neverending Story by Michael Ende
Why Not Me? By Mindy Kaling
Boy Series by Meg Cabot
Books for my Shelves
Vengeance Road by Erin Bowman
Uprooted by Naomi Novik
Quilt Trilogy by Ann Rinaldi
Lang Leav's Lullabies
White Oleander by Janet Finch
My reasons vary for each selection. Like I would adore having the Quilt Trilogy on my Kindle. Alas, not available. So I'd settle with a physical copy for nostalgia sake. Vengeance Road and Uprooted are my current favorite new reads that I've picked up in the past year. They would fit quite nicely on my bookshelves. And for some reason I have a serious lack of Meg Cabot on my Kindle but plenty of her on my shelves. Such imbalance! Oh, and White Oleander has been a secret love of mine for quite some time and yet...I don't have a copy in any form!
That's all for this week's round of Top Ten Tuesday. Any suggestions? Do you have any books you are craving to splurge on but only in one form? Any digital copies you're desperate to add to your physical shelves, any throwback nostalgia physical books you wouldn't mind on your e-reader?
Have a read-tastic week!
Jess

Yes, I was terribly curious why you'd want some books as e-books and some as real books. Thanks for the explanation.
Here's my Top Ten!
I go back and forth from reading physical books and e-books all the time! lol. Thanks for stopping by! :)
Ooh, the cover for The Graces is beautiful! I've also wanted to read Why Not Me? but I want to hear it on audiobook. I've wanted to read Uprooted for a long time but every time I come across an edition, it is so expensive!
Jess @ POB!
It really is! Normally I'd stray from the premise just a tad but the cover is so elegant. lol. It looks promising! I agree, Why Not Me? would probably be best in audio format. Mindy Kaling's voice cannot be denied. Especially when she's reading her own words. lol. Uprooted is worth the splurge! And, if you're into audiobooks - the audio is amazing. Thank you for stopping by!!! :)
Great list! I love the cover of Vengeance Road and I've heard such great things about White Oleander. I hope you manage to nab all of these soon!
I love the cover too! It's brilliant. And White Oleander speaks volumes to me. :) Thanks for commenting! :)
Great list. I have heard so many good things about The Graces! :)

It's gotten great responses! :) Thanks for stopping by! :)
Your list is so good! I bought THE GIRL ON THE TRAIN two weeks back, planning to read it before the movie comes out. The neverending story and the quilt trilogy sounds good, adding them to my TBR now ;)
Thanks for stopping by my blog, Jessica :)
Happy Reading!
Thank you! I'm meaning to read it before I go see the movie too. It looks fantastic. Thanks for stopping by too! :)
I would love the UK edition of Uprooted; it's so gorgeous! Also love the cover of Vengeance Road and really need to read that one soon! Glad to hear it's a new favorite of yours.
Thanks for stopping by The Local Muse
Yes! You have to read Vengeance Road soon. I think I've had it on almost every list since I read it. lol. :) Thanks for stopping by too! :)

Great list! When I really enjoy e-books, I want physical copies on my shelves too, to have and to hold :)) It would probably save more space to just stick to e-books and save shelf space for favorites.
Thank you for stopping by Haphazard Bookshelves :)
